Proposed Itinerary

  • A humility and WILLINGNESS to improve for a serious relationship is required for success at WHIMSICALI. Access granted following application.

    • Weekend expectations course required, if participant approved for intensive

FAQs

Who is getting accepted?

There will be EQUAL MEN AND EQUAL WOMEN at this conference, meaning there could be a match for every single person. We are going to have equal attendees in each age category as well. Our goal is to have 200-300 attendees but it all depends on the number of applicants—tell your friends!

Will I have to date long distance?

Our hope is to have an attendee from every state represented at WHIMSICALI so it is likely that there will be couples who end up in long distance relationships. For some, VOCATION OVER LOCATION, but that is not true for everyone. We encourage people to be honest about if they are truly open to a long distance relationship and are willing to relocate before they apply for this intensive. We have no idea how the Lord will work!

What follow up steps are needed?

After applying, you will need to:

1) Listen to the required course and send an email or text confirming completion (using the honor code—you don’t want to go to confession due to this conference!)

2) Receive acceptance email from catholicsinglesdate@gmail.com and pay the Intensive Investment

3) Book travel and lodging + complete matchmaking profiles! (Official event location shared after Intensive Investment paid!)

4) Watch the Intensive expectations video and pray for your future spouse, the leaders, and all attendees that the Lord would use this experience for his greatest good. Amen.

When will I be approved?

It depends on the amount of applicants. Applying early gives you a greater chance at early acceptance, but doesn’t guarantee that you will be approved first. We will start a waitlist and as we have more applicants, we will have more approvals!

MEN: We are going to need your help to make this successful. Tell your friends, brothers, small groups, parish leaders, etc. the more of you there are, the more women we will be able to accept!

We will be accepting people based on whether we believe they will find their spouse at this event. If we do not feel it would be a good fit, we will not accept.
